Watchung, NJ Basement Acoustical Ceiling

Northern NJ Interiors succesfully completed a basement acoustical ceiling remodel in Watchung, NJ 07069 in Somerset County. The existing drop ceiling was outdated and poorly fitted. The existing suspended ceiling used ceiling material to create a soffit which looked horrible. We proposed removing all the ceiling and making soffits around the HVAC ducts with metal stud and drywall. This allowed as to raise ceiling heights in the basement since our client was tall. For material we used Armstrong Silhouette with a 1/4" reveal. The tile used was Armstrong Ultima 1912 tegular edge. We installed Rockwool mineral wool insulation above the ceiling to reduce noise.
